This past weekend was Mother’s Day and though it was a great day “off” for me, I accompanied the hubs who still had to do Taxi duty to our son who had to work. The weather was beautiful; not too hot, the sun was shinning and we had just enough time to pop into Corkscrew Wine and Cheese in Rockbrook for a quick glass of something yummy. We had just finished a great lunch at Shucks and though I enjoyed my Bloody Mary, I was craving something a bit different. I was rummaging though the cold case saw the Domaine Saint Lannes. I have seen it fly off the shelves at the other location and heard nothing but rave reviews. I thought since we were on a limited time schedule, what the heck and for only a mere $13 a bottle one can’t go wrong.
The best thing about this wine: a fantastic white wine at a reasonable price
Available at: Corkscrew Wine and Cheese
By the bottle: $13
Pairs well with: fish, mild cheeses and a sunny patio
